Have owned this for a while but only used it a couple of times before it started getting very loud. I didnt really think anything of it, until I used it this morning and was washing it. There is a lot of play in the bearings that hold the blades and shaft in place. Plugged it in, pushed the button, nothing. Called support and they agreed to send me a new base under warranty. This unit is about 2 years old. I had to pay 30 bucks for shipping, but felt for the money I spent on this thing, it was worth the effort. I realize if and when I do receive a replacement, it will most likely be a refurb. I bought 4 blenders and got a lifetime warranty. Two of the blenders are not working. Call the Montel Williams company and was told that the model is no longer available. So much for warranty. I need to talk to Montel Williams. He was the one of the TV selling false warranty. Read more

Bought it around July 2013, burned out about April 2014. Wife has been on the phone many times. She has written two letters to corporate. She has sent info to Montel Williams and complained on his facebook page. Get no response from them except future possible delivery dates. I posted this on rip Off Reports and many other websites. I paid $200 for the blender it has a 5 year warranty after 1.5 years the motor burnt out. I was told that if I shipped it back that the model I had was on back order and would take 30 days to receive it but if I paid $35 they would ship me out a replacement and I would receive it in 12 days that was 5 months ago. Was told it could not be replaced because they no longer had the model I had purchased a year ago. They wanted to sell me another blended one hundred more than I origially purchased. I was happy with the blender but then it broke after a year, I was told I had to pay $75 for the upgrade or wait 30 days for the replacement for the same model. I paid the $75 for the upgrade not wanting to wait 30 days, Now it has been 4 months and I still do not have the blender replaced. It's nuts that I spent so much on this product and can't get a replacement pitcher. I have two Healthmaster's model YD-2088E and just need a new pitcher because one leaks.
